Osmania University has announced the rescheduling of the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TS SET) 2024. The exam will now take place on September 10, 11, 12, and 13. This decision was made to prevent a conflict with the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024, which was initially set for August 28, 29, 30, and 31.

In light of this change, the university has decided to reopen the application correction window on August 23 and 24. Candidates who need to make any corrections to their applications can do so by logging in with their application number and password on the official website, telanganaset.org.
TS SET 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the TS SET, candidates must hold a master's degree or an equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks. There is a 5% relaxation in the marks requirement for candidates belonging to reserved categories. Additionally, those who are currently pursuing a master's degree or are awaiting their final year results are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who have earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree and completed their master's by September 19, 1991, are eligible for an additional 5% relaxation in aggregate marks required for the SET.
Exam Pattern for TS SET 2024
The TS SET 2024 exam will consist of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2, with a total duration of three hours. Paper 1 includes 50 questions, while Paper 2 comprises 100 questions. Each correct answer will be awarded two marks. Both papers feature objective-type questions exclusively.
The hall tickets for TS SET 2024 will be available for download starting September 2. These admit cards will contain crucial information such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam date and time, venue, photograph, and signature.
This rescheduling not only avoids a clash with UGC NET 2024 but also provides candidates with additional time to make any necessary corrections to their applications before the new exam dates. The adjustment is intended to ensure that candidates can participate in both exams without any scheduling conflicts, allowing them to focus fully on their preparations.
