Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has opened the application process for the direct recruitment of PhD researchers in grade B for research positions. There are 14 vacancies that have opened for this post. Out of that, 6 seats are for the general category and the rest are for the backward classes. This position is inclusive of the physically challenged candidates as well.
The areas of research at RBI are monetary economics, central banking, macro-financial stability, financial markets and macroeconomic theory, macroeconomics, applied econometrics and trade. The engagement of candidates will be of two types, regular appointment under a probation period or appointment on contract basis.
