On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled several development projects focusing on education and other sectors during his visit to Jammu. Among these, he inaugurated the permanent campus of various institutions, including IITs and IIMs.

According to news agency PTI, PM Modi formally inaugurated the IIT Jammu complex, which features 52 labs, 104 faculty offices, and 27 lecture halls. The campus also offers hostel accommodations for approximately 1,450 students, with over 1,400 students currently enrolled in various programs. Additionally, the Prime Minister inaugurated AIIMS Jammu to address the healthcare needs of the region. Furthermore, appointment orders for about 1500 new government recruits from Jammu and Kashmir were distributed during the event.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi unveiled AIIMS Jammu, a pivotal addition to the region's healthcare infrastructure. The occasion also witnessed the issuance of appointment letters to approximately 1500 new government employees in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a concerted effort to enhance education across the nation, PM Modi also inaugurated 20 new buildings for Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) and 13 new Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVs). A substantial investment of ₹13,375 crore has been allocated to various educational initiatives, including the establishment of permanent campuses for institutions such as IIT Bhilai, IIT Tirupati, and IIITDM Kurnool. Moreover, the launch of the Indian Institute of Skills (IIS) in Kanpur and two campuses of Central Sanskrit University further underscores the government's dedication to advancing education and skill development.
