OHPC Recruitment 2019: Apply For 115 Technical Trainee Posts In Multiple Trades

The Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd. (OHPCL), a PSU under Government of Odisha has invited online applications from eligible India nationals for selection of 115 Technical Trainees in multiple trades comprising Electrical, Mechanical, Welder, Crane Operator, Wireman and Store Keeper through direct recruitment to be posted at OHPC's various Units and Project Sites. The online registration-cum-application process towards the same starts from March 11, 2019 and closes on April 16, 2019 with April 10, 2019 as the late date for fee payment.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the posts of Technical Trainees through OHPC Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age as on March 01, 2019, and must not have exceeded 32 years, with a relaxation in the upper age limit up to 37 years for SC/ST/SEBC and Women candidates. A further relaxation up to 10 years (42 years) is granted to PWD candidates.

Candidates must pay a prescribed application fee Rs. 500 (GEN/SEBC) either through online State Bank Collect mode (Internet Banking/Debit/Credit payment gateways), or through off-line mode by SBI Challan at any SBI branch.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for Technical Trainees post in multiple trades through OHPC Recruitment 2019 must possess the following qualifications:

Electrical Trainee - HSC/Class 12 with approved trade Certificate in Electrician trade from ITI or NAC in Electrician trade from NCVT.

Mechanical Trainee - HSC/Class 12 with approved trade Certificate in Fitter trade from ITI or NAC in Fitter trade from NCVT.

Welder Trainee - HSC/Class 12 with approved trade Certificate in Welder trade from ITI or NAC in Welder trade from NCVT.

Crane Operator Trainee - Class 10 and ITI in Motor Mechanic/Crane Operator trade with relevant experience

Wireman Trainee - HSC/Class 12 with approved trade Certificate in Wireman trade from ITI or NAC in Wireman trade from NCVT.

Storekeeper Trainee - Commerce Graduate with one-year Diploma in Computer Application or equivalent.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Technical Trainees in multiple trades through OHPC Recruitment 2019 will be done through a Computer Based (CBT) to be conducted in the month of May, Medical Test and Document Verification.

Candidates selected as Technical Trainees in multiple trades through OHPC Recruitment 2019 will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 13,000 per month for a period of one year, and on regularisation will be paid remuneration in the scale of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 81,100 per month.
