Coronavirus: NTA To Postpone Application Deadline For Various Entrance Exams

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to consider the advise made by the HRD Minister regarding postponement of the application deadline for several entrance examinations such as ICAR Exam, JNUEE, UGC NET, CSIR NET, NCHM JEE, IGNOU PhD and Management Entrance exams. NTA has also been asked to postpone the application process for All India Ayush PG Entrance Test by a month due to ongoing lockdown across the country due to the Novel Coronavirus epidemic.

NTA To Postpone Application Deadline For Exams

Earlier, HRD Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has tweeted regarding the last date of acceptance of applications for ICAR Exam, JNU Entrance Exam, UGC NET, CSIR NET, NCHM JEE, IGNOU PhD and Management Entrance exams by one month.

He also tweeted, "I have also advised @DG_NTA to postpone the Application Process of All India Ayush PG Entrance Test by one month."

NTA has released a public notice regarding the extension/ revision of dates for submission of online application forms for various examinations. Aspirants can access the revised deadlines on the official website.

NTA will revise the dates for each of these exams. The new dates will be announced soon on the official website. Aspirants are advised to check the NTA website regularly. Earlier, NTA has postponed NEET 2020 exam along with JEE Main (April) session.
