New Research Centre In Bangalore: According to the official release, the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) will collaborate with TrustBridge to establish a new research centre in Bangalore to study the Rule of Law. The new Centre will perform detailed research on the rule of law with the purpose of progress in the operation of markets, enterprises, and the economy in India.

New 5-Year Research Programme In Bangalore

This five-year programme will investigate the rule of law with the goal of enhancing the functioning of businesses, markets, and the economy in India. The Centre will be placed on the Bangalore University campus.

As to the University announcement, "This Centre, a five-year-long effort, will examine the rule of law from the perspective of strengthening the functioning of markets, industry and the economy in India. The Centre will be placed on the University of Bangalore campus.
The primary goal of this Centre is to promote and advance study on the rule of law issues in regions where the improved rule of law functioning leads to improved market and economic performance in general.

Main Focus Areas of the New Research Centre

The Center's primary focus will be on the rule of law in two major areas: financial markets and government litigation and contracts. The Centre will also analyse the influence of subordinate legislation and enforcement processes in the fields of banking and bankruptcy, insurance, pensions, and capital markets on economic outcomes.

It will investigate the causes of government litigation and ways to make it more efficient.
The research centre yearns to construct the foundation for a sound regulatory framework to establish a well-functioning economy.

Supervision Of The New Research Centre

The Centre will be cared after by an Executive Committee and an Advisory Board. A team of law and economics researchers and other administrative personnel will lead it.
