National Institute Of Ocean Technology (NIOT) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of Project Scientist, Project Scientific Assistant, Project Technician, Project Senior Executive and Project Junior Assistant posts. Candidates may apply before October 30, 2017.

• Project Scientist: 106
• Project Scientific Assistant: 48
• Project Technician: 21
• Project Senior Executive: 11
• Project Junior Assistant: 17

Educational requirements:

• For Project Scientist: Candidates must hold BE/ BTech/ MSc
• For Project Scientific Assistant: Candidates must have completed Diploma Engineering/ BSc.
• For Project Technician: Candidate must have passed 10th with ITI Trade certificate.
• For Project Senior Executive: Any degree with 5 years of experience.
• For Project Junior Assistant: Candidates applying for this post must have completed 12th std pass with English typewriting.

Age limit:

• Project Senior Executive: 35 to 40 years.
• For Project Scientific Assistant: 28 years
• For Project Technician: 28 years
• For Project Senior Executive: 40 years
• For Project Junior Assistant: 28 years

Pay scale:

• Project Senior Executive: The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 55000- 65000 plus HRA
• For Project Scientific Assistant: The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 24000 plus HRA
• For Project Technician: The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 15000 plus HRA
• For Project Senior Executive: The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 24000 plus HRA
• For Project Junior Assistant: The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 15000 plus HRA
