NEET Counselling 2016: Last Day To Exercise Choices & Lock Seats

CBSE is conducting the counselling process for NEET 2016 for admission of candidates into medical and dental courses. Today, August 26, 2016 is the last for candidates to exercise their choices and lock seats by 5pm on the official website.

The NEET counselling process began on August 22, 2016. According to the schedule released by the CBSE, the last day to exercise choices and lock seats is August 26, 2016 by 5 pm. The process of seat allotment as per the schedule will be done by tomorrow, August 27, 2016. And yesterday being the last date for main counselling registration and choice filling.

According to the SC, the counselling process will be undertaken by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for allotment of 15% All India quota MBBS and BDS seats through centralised counselling this year.

NEET Counselling 2016:Last Day To Exercise Choices

The counselling session according to the schedule will happen in two rounds where the seats will be allotted to candidates through central quota in the first phase and through state quota in the second phase.

The NEET entrance examination was held in two phases NEET 1 and NEET 2 on May 1, 2016 and July 24, 2016 respectively.
