NBEMS FMGE October 2026 Registration Dates Announced, Exam on October 31

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the registration schedule for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) October 2026 session. Candidates who wish to appear for the screening test can submit their applications as per the schedule notified by the Board.

The FMGE October 2026 examination will be conducted on October 31, 2026 through a computer-based platform at designated examination centres across India. The exam is conducted for eligible Indian citizens and overseas citizens of India who have obtained their primary medical qualification from institutions outside India and meet the prescribed requirements.

FMGE October 2026 Registration Dates

The online registration process for FMGE October 2026 will begin on September 11, 2026, at 5 PM. Candidates can submit their applications until September 25, 2026.

Applicants should complete the registration process carefully and provide accurate personal, academic and qualification details. Candidates are advised not to wait until the last date to submit the form to avoid technical or payment-related issues.

FMGE October 2026 Exam Date and Pattern

The FMGE October 2026 examination is scheduled for October 31, 2026. It will be conducted as a computer-based test.

The examination will consist of one paper containing 300 multiple-choice questions. Each question will have four response options, and the questions will be provided in the English language only. Candidates will have to select the correct, best or most appropriate answer from the options provided.

The computer-based examination also allows candidates to mark questions for review. This facility enables them to return to attempted or unattempted questions within the relevant section before the allotted time ends.

FMGE October 2026 Application Fee

Candidates applying for FMGE October 2026 will have to pay an examination fee of ₹5,250, along with 18% GST of ₹945. The total amount payable is therefore ₹6,195.

The prescribed fee can be paid through the payment gateway provided during the application process using UPI, credit card or debit card issued by banks in India, or through other payment modes made available by NBEMS.

Important Instruction for FMGE Applicants

NBEMS has specified that a candidate can submit only one application form for FMGE 2026. Candidates should therefore check all details carefully before final submission.

If a candidate submits more than one application, NBEMS may issue the admit card against the application carrying the higher Application Number/Application ID and cancel the other application or applications. The fee paid for the cancelled applications may also be forfeited.

FMGE October 2026 Result Date

The FMGE October 2026 result is scheduled to be declared by November 30, 2026. Candidates should regularly check the official NBEMS website for the latest notices, application updates, admit card information and result announcements.
