The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, established in 1965 is authorised to regulate, supervise and control school education in Madhya Pradesh. The board is also responsible to prepare academic programmes and organise examinations like (HSC or Class 10) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC or Class 12).
