Mission Karmayogi: How It Will Bring Reforms In Civil Services

Union Cabinet has approved Mission Karmayogi - A National Programme For Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB) for a future ready civil service.

Union Cabinet has approved the Mission Karmayogi, which will bring reforms in Civil Services post recruitment. Cabinet Minister Prakash Javadekar said Mission Karmayogi - a National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB) will benefit civil servants to improve their performance. The Capacity Building Commission will bring a uniform approach to managing and regulating the capacity building ecosystem. What is Mission Karmayogi

Prime Minister Narender Modi tweeted, "MissionKarmayogi - National Program for Civil Services Capacity Building approved in today's cabinet will radically improve the Human Resource management practices in the Government. It will use scale & state of the art infrastructure to augment the capacity of Civil Servants."

Modi also tweeted, "The iGOT platform will enable the transition to a role-based HR management & continuous learning. Mission Karmayogi aims to prepare Civil Servants for the future by making them more creative, constructive & innovative through transparency and technology. #CivilService4NewIndia"

Union Minister of State Dr Jitender Singh tweeted that Civil Servants will be shifted from rules-based to roles-based with Mission Karmayogi

He also mentioned about the six pillars of Mission Karmayogi
