Model cases were examined to provide valuable insights into best practices.
On the second day, discussions centered around revamping the PM JANMAN scheme and formulating an action plan for training EMRS school teachers. Participants also focused on spreading awareness about Sickle Cell Disease and other initiatives planned by the Ministry.
Progress Tracking and Initiatives:
Other topics of discussion included the progress of PM JANMAN with an emphasis on MPC, Vandhan Kendra, and model villages. The PM GatiShakti Portal was also highlighted for tracking progress and verifying physical work at the grassroots level.
Representatives from BISAG shared their expertise on using mobile applications for household data collection during door-to-door surveys, ensuring that all family members benefit from PM JANMAN and related schemes.
Plenary Sessions and Conclusion:
Plenary sessions were held at the end of each day to collate ideas from thematic workshops. These sessions allowed participants to share insights on increasing data collection efficiency, optimizing resources, and collaborating with state departments and NGOs to achieve their goals.
The event concluded with participants brainstorming ways to build a robust response mechanism for existing schemes, addressing bottlenecks in implementation, and fostering collaboration among various stakeholders.
