Despite the fact that the Higher Education Department has established a set of general guidelines that educational institutes must follow, they are free to have their own set of SOPs. All requirements must, however, ensure that all classrooms, libraries, and laboratories are clean. If these Institutes want assistance in carrying out this task, they may seek assistance from local self-government authorities, concerned health workers, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

The institutes must also ensure that there are enough masks and handwashing facilities, among other guidelines. Furthermore, vaccination drives for students and employees must be scheduled as soon as possible. This is because, for everyone's protection, everyone who comes to campus must be vaccinated with at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
