The Indian School of Business (ISB) has initiated an extensive curriculum reassessment for its Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) in light of the continuously evolving business environment.

As per ISB, the revised curriculum emphasizes a threefold approach. Firstly, it entails transitioning towards a more tailored and adaptable program framework to accommodate the diverse requirements of students, stemming from various backgrounds ranging from engineering to the armed forces to art or sports, as stated in an ISB announcement.
Secondly, the focus lies on enhancing learnability, employing more activity-based methodologies aimed at fostering continuous learning capabilities. Lastly, the curriculum incorporates an embedded mechanism for renewal to proactively address future needs.
The number of courses has been trimmed down to 14, with 4 of them being transitioned to the list of elective courses, designed to adapt to the swiftly evolving business environment, particularly in areas like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Additionally, the business school has revamped its one-year program structure, shifting from standard six-week blocks to a four-week block, leaving room for numerous short-term courses.
There is a notable emphasis on enhancing the Analytics curriculum to align with the requirements of the contemporary data-driven business landscape. The updated curriculum introduces new courses covering cutting-edge technologies, with elective options including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
