IIT Hyderabad: Business Analytics programme to start from April 9

The computer science and engineering department of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Hyderabad will start a weekend course certificate course on business analytics. The course is scheduled to begin from April 9, 2016.

With increasing popularity and demand for business analytic and data scientists, many corporate companies these days are looking to get hold of capable business analytic and senior data analysis to meet the targets in the business market in India.

About the Course:
During the course the candidates will be taught on necessary skills to face all the challenges of data intensive decision-making environments. The candidates will also develop in-depth knowledge of concepts like time series forecasting, classification, sentiment analysis, clustering, usage of the R statistical software and regression.

• Course length: 6 days
• Course starts on: April 9, 2016

Prerequisites:

Undergraduate student with knowledge of mathematics and statistics or working professionals can take up the course. Moreover, students with some working experience will be given advantage in the admission process.

The batches for the six-day weekend course will begin from April 9, 2016 and the last batch will be conducted on May 1, 2016.
