An official employment notification has been released by the Institute of Personnel Banking Selection (IBPS), calling out for candidates to apply for various posts. The hiring is on a contractual basis for a prescribed period.

IBPS Recruitment for Faculty, Research Associate

Out of the total 5 posts, 2 each are for banker faculty and research associate. Details of the IBPS recruitment are available at the official website of IBPS at ibps.in.

Selection process

Except for Research Associate, for other two posts candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in interview. New rules, if any, will be notified by IBPS officially.

For research associate, candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in online exam and interview/ group exercises; both of which will be held in November 2017. Candidates can download the admit card for the online exam after last week of October 2017.

Exam pattern

Online exam will comprise of questions from reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language and general awareness. Candidates will be allowed 140 minutes for attempting a total of 200 questions. The question paper will be in English only.

What does the official notification read?

'Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online examination will subsequently be called for further process of Selection which may include Item Writing/Group Exercises /Interview Etc.'

The application process for IBPS clerk recruitment closes yesterday and preliminary exam for IBPS PO recruitment will begin on 7 October.
