Harvard meet to discuss India's path to global leadership

Washington, March 4 : Graduate students of Harvard are hosting the 12th India Conference on March 7 and 8 to foster a targeted dialogue and academic critique on India's path to global leadership.

To be held at the Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School, it would bring together students and professionals from across the world to interact with India's visionaries to discuss the path of India's future.

Meet to discuss India's path to global leadership

The conference will offer a common interactive platform to business leaders, entertainment professionals, government officials, philanthropists and others.

It will cover topics ranging from India's potential to keep pace or overtake China as a manufacturing hub and the fast growing local e-Commerce industry, to the entrepreneurial work reinventing health care practice.

The various panels are expected to debate the move to create 100 new smart cities, the role of women in business, the impact of changing media landscape on politics and India's relationships with her neighbours.

This year's speaker line-up includes Sajjan Jindal, chairman and MD, JSW, Kiran Bedi, former police officer and social activist, Prithviraj Chavan, former chief minister of Maharashtra and Rahul Bose, actor, director and social activist.
