A Swedish environmental activist, Greta Thunberg, has extended her support to students regarding postponement of JEE Main and NEET 2020 entrance exams scheduled in September. The entrance exams for Class 12 students is likely to be held amid the COVID pandemic in the country. Greta, who has just returned to school after a 'gap year' of creating awareness about climate change, has expressed her concern for students of India on Twitter.
Greta Thunberg tweeted "It's deeply unfair that students of India are asked to sit national exams during the Covid-19 pandemic and while millions have also been impacted by the extreme floods. I stand with their call to #PostponeJEE_NEETinCOVID."
