Gauhati University B.Ed Admissions 2017: Check Merit List Now!

Gauhati University has declared the Merit List for the  Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) Admissions 2017. The candidates can check the Merit list on the official website of the university.

The entrance examination for the B.Ed Admissions was conducted on August 6, 2017.

The examination was organized for candidates who were looking forward to get admissions in the B.Ed course in various colleges which come under the Gauhati University.

Announcement for Colleges

Gauhati University has published a notification which announced that all the B.Ed Colleges which ae affiliated to the varsity will need to come up with their own Merit List and the colleges will also need to publish their own notifications, which will be invitations for the application process for the prospective candidates who have cleared the B.Ed Admissions Entrance Examination.

Important Dates for GU B.Ed Admissions 2017

The university has directed the colleges to finish the admission process by September 11, 2017. The classes are planned to start from September 15, 2017. A report suggesting the number of seats that are filled and that are vacant, is to be submitted by the colleges to the university by September 14, 2017.

The varsity said that the Merit List must be structured on the basis of equal weightage to scores in the entrance examination, along with scores of qualifying exam.

NOTE -The candidate are reminded that they can apply for any college of their choice but they will be only be able to get admitted to one college.

How to Check the Merit List for Gauhati University B.Ed Admissions 2017?

  • Visit the official website of the university - gauhati.ac.in
  • Find the notification which reads - ' B.Ed Admission (Merit) List is not Live ' and click on it
  • You will be taken to another page 
  • Download the PDF document from the bottom
  • Find your Roll Number or Application Number
  • Save a copy for future use
