IIT Delhi Revises GATE Counselling 2021 Schedule

GATE Counselling 2021: IIT Delhi has revised the GATE COAP Counselling Schedule 2021. The GATE counselling schedule and dates to begin on May 28, 2021.

The coordinating institute, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, has revised the GATE counselling 2021 schedule. It has decided to conduct the GATE counselling 2021 in virtual mode due to the pandemic. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021 counselling will begin on May 28 for qualified candidates who seek admission to participating institutions. The admission seats will be offered to candidates under each Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) round and they have to decide within the given time. The official notice reads, "Round 1 to 4 of main rounds, Candidates have all the three options to select. The working flow chart of options can be seen in the following link. However, candidates will not be able to choose Retain & Wait more than twice on a specific offer."

It also reads, "No, if you have already used Retain & Wait on the same offer twice. Same offer refers to the program "XYZ" of a particular Institute "ABC". Round 5 is a Decisive Round, therefore the candidates will have only 'Accept and Freeze' and 'Reject' options to select."

The official website reads, "Additional Rounds A,B,C,D and E are independent rounds and each one is treated like a Decisive Round. That is, the candidates will have only 'Accept and Freeze' and 'Reject' options in these rounds."
