Educational qualification for ECGC recruitment:
- For Generalist post: Graduate/ Post Graduate in any stream with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD)
- For Account post: CA Degree or CFA Degree or ICWA
- For Legal post: Bachelor of Law (LLB)/ Master of Law (LLM)
- For Company Secretariat post: An associate member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS)
- For Actuary: A student member of Institute of Actuary
- For IT post: BE/ B.Tech. in Computer Science or Information Technology or MCA
- For Economics post: Post Graduation in Economics with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD)
- For Commerce post: Master Degree in Commerce with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD)

Age limit for ECGC recruitment:

- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 30 years
Application fee for ECGC recruitment:
- For General/OBC: Rs.600/-
- ForSC/ST: Rs.100/-
The fee can be paid through online mode by using credit card/debit card or net banking/imps/Cash Card/Wallets.
Mode of selection for ECGC recruitment:
- Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Online Examination (MCQ and Descriptive Paper) and Interview.
Examination Centres:
- The Examination will be conducted online at 5 Examination Centres, i.e Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Kolkata/Greater Kolkata and Mumbai/ Thane/ Navi Mumbai/ Greater Mumbai.

- Download of call letters for Online examination: 7 to 10 days before exam
