Defence Ministry DRDO Robotics Competition For Engineering Students: Win Up to Rs 1.5 Lakhs!

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is conducting a robotic competition for college students. According to the notice, the objective of the event is to have various theme based technological challenges to facilitate participation from different categories of talent.

DRDO Robotic Competition 2018 Details

Name of the contest

DRDO Robotics and Unmanned Systems Exposition (DRUSE)

Eligibility

• The candidate must be a citizen of India
• The candidate must be doing either undergraduation or post graduation in Engineering
• Candidates can take part only in a team of 3 to five people that also has a Team Leader

• Mountain Climbing Robot
• Mobility in Snow Bound Area
• Soldier Assistance vehicle
• Casualty Evacuation
• Exoskeleton
• Surveillance of a Ship
• Self-Concealing UGV
• Mobility of UGV over land, air and water
• Underwater Survey System
• Surveillance in Multi-storey building
• Battlefield debris clearance
• Mine detection and clearance
• Robotic Assistive Device for divyang persons
• Any other defence application for Robotics and Unmanned Systems not covered above

• First Prize Rs 30,000
• Second Prize Rs 25,000
• Third Prize Rs 20,000

Each participating team Rs 10,000

National Level Awards

• First Prize Rs 1.5 Lakh
• Second Prize Rs 1 Lakh
• Third Prize Rs 0.5 Lakh
• Each participating team Rs 20,000
