The Delhi government has unveiled its FY 2025-26 budget, with a strong emphasis on education reform and infrastructure development. The budget outlines several key initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of education, promoting digital learning, and fostering entrepreneurial skills among students. With a total allocation of ₹19,291 crore for the education sector, marking a 17% increase from the previous year, the government is committed to transforming Delhi's schools through smart classrooms, language labs, and modern learning facilities. This investment also includes new CM Shri Schools, an education hub in Narela, and free laptops for high-performing students, ensuring greater accessibility and innovation in learning.

Delhi's FY 2025-26 budget places a strong focus on education, with key initiatives announced by the Chief Minister:
₹100 Crore for CM Shri Schools: The government plans to establish 60 CM Shri Schools, which will align with NEP 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework 2023.
Education Hub in Narela: A ₹500 crore investment will develop a state-of-the-art education hub in Narela, enhancing academic infrastructure in the city.
Language Labs: ₹21 crore is set aside for 100 language laboratories, named after Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, offering courses in French, German, Spanish, and English.
Smart Classrooms & Digital Learning: ₹100 crore is allocated to upgrade 9,000 classrooms into smart classrooms, along with ₹50 crore for 175 new computer labs.
Laptops for Top Students: A budget of ₹7.5 crore will fund 1,200 free laptops for Class 10 high achievers.
Entrepreneurial Development: The 'NEEEV (New Era of Entrepreneurial Ecosystem and Vision)' scheme receives ₹20 crore to nurture business skills among students.
Overall Education Budget: The total education sector allocation is ₹19,291 crore, reflecting a 17% rise from last year's ₹16,396 crore.
This budget aims to strengthen digital education, skill development, and infrastructure, benefiting students across Delhi.
