The CSIR-NET June 2026 final answer key went live on August 29. NTA confirmed uploads for all five subjects and said results will be declared shortly. With key revisions settled, candidates can estimate scores confidently and prepare documents for quick verification this week.
After expert review of challenges, only the final key counts for scoring. If multiple options are correct, marks go to any marked correct option. If any question is invalid, attempted candidates get full marks. No grievances on keys are accepted after result publication.

To check, open the CSIR-NET portal and log in with your application number and password. Select the “Click to View Final Answer Key” button on the candidate page and download the subject-wise PDF. Compare changed answers with your response sheet and recalculate likely marks.
Because the exam ran in shifts, NTA uses percentile-based normalization. Your scorecard will display total percentile, called NTA Score, alongside marks. Merit lists and cut-offs are compiled using normalized scores, not raw marks. With final keys out, the result window is now imminent.
When results release, check name, subject code, category, raw marks and NTA Score. Ensure details match your application. If status shows withheld or mismatched data, contact the NTA Helpdesk with application number, date of birth and a short description for resolution.
| Action | Keep ready |
|---|---|
| Scorecard login | Application number, date of birth/password, security pin |
| Certificate login | Application number, date of birth, consistent name details |
| Verification | Category/EWS certificate, postgraduate marksheets, photo ID (if asked) |
Remember the difference between qualifying marks and cut-offs. Minimum benchmarks are 33 percent for General, Economically Weaker Section and Other Backward Classes. They are 25 percent for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Persons with Disabilities. There is no separate part-wise cut-off during merit preparation.
E‑certificates and Junior Research Fellowship award letters will open on the NTA e‑certificate portal after results. For reference, certificates for December 2025 were released on May 6, 2026. For fellowship activation, follow CSIR‑HRDG advisories. For unresolved discrepancies, email [email protected] or call the helpline numbers.
