UPSC Mains 2026: Critical Exam Timings and Last-Minute Entry Rules You Must Know

UPSC Civil Services Mains enters a tight final weekend on August 29 and 30, 2026. Qualifying Language papers are on Saturday; Optional papers follow Sunday. Sessions run 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Verify centre, roll number, and booklet series before writing.

UPSC’s Question Paper Representation Portal opens from August 31 to September 4 for Mains 2026. Submit any representation only through the portal within this five‑day window. After August 30, watch for the Commission’s result and DAF‑II schedule; keep category, service, and document proofs ready.
