The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) 2024 June session. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.

Initially, CSIR NET 2024 exams were set to take place from June 25 to 27. However, due to unavoidable circumstances and logistical issues, the NTA postponed the exams. Approximately 2 lakh candidates are expected to appear for this exam, which is conducted in computer-based mode.
To download the admit card, follow these steps:
The issued admit card is provisional. Candidates must bring a hard copy of it to enter the examination hall. Soft copies will not be accepted by invigilators at the exam premises.
The public notice also details the exam dates and shifts for various subjects. On July 25, exams for physical sciences, mathematical sciences, and Earth, atmospheric, ocean, and planetary sciences will be held. Physical sciences and Earth sciences exams will run from 9 am to noon in a single shift. The mathematical sciences exam will occur from 3 pm to 6 pm in shift two.
On July 26, there will be two life sciences exams. The first will take place from 9 am to noon in shift one, while the second will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm in shift two. Finally, on July 27, the chemical sciences exam will be conducted in a single shift from 9 am to noon.
The CSIR NET examination is aimed at students pursuing Junior Research Fellowship, lectureship positions as assistant professors, or PhDs. This year's test continues with a computer-based format.
The NTA's decision to postpone was announced on June 21 due to unavoidable circumstances and logistical challenges. This change affected about 2 lakh candidates who had registered for the CSIR-UGC NET exam.
Candidates should ensure they have their hard copy admit cards ready for entry into examination centres as soft copies are not permitted by invigilators.
This year's CSIR NET aims to facilitate students interested in research fellowships and academic careers through a streamlined computer-based testing process.
