CMAT February 2014 crosses One Lakh registrations

One lakh registered for CMAT February 2014

More than one lakh candidates registered for Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) for the session February 2014.

 

AICTE Chairman Dr S S Mantha said, "More then one lakh candidates registered for the CMAT 2014 second test. Such a large number of registrations for CMAT 2014 proves that the test is widely accepted among the students' community."

Dr S S Mantha also said that, "Students suffer financial cost and hardships as they tend to take a number of entrance tests. Sometimes, dates of the exams overlap. There is the question of high exam fees as well. All these things have led to the launch of CMAT. This success with respect to the registrations proves that we are in the right direction."

According to the sources, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, had extended the last date for submission of CMAT February 2014 application from 02nd January to 16th January 2014.

CMAT February 2014 is the qualifying entrance exam for admission to Management programmes in AICTE approved institutions.

AICTE is set to conduct CMAT Feb 2014 online examination from 20th to 24th February 2014.

CMAT Feb 2014 is a computer based test which will be held in two slots, from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM. The exam will be conducted across 32 cities in India.

Around 11 states have been accepting the CMAT scores for MBA admission in the states under government quota.

The states are Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Nagaland, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Jharkhand.
