Chandrayaan 3 Landing to Telecast In UP Schools

Special Arrangements for Live Telecast in Schools and Educational Institutions

The Uttar Pradesh government has announced that the Chandrayaan 3 moon landing process will be broadcasted live on the ISRO website, YouTube channel, and DD National at 5.27 pm on August 23rd. To ensure that students can watch it, schools and educational institutions should organize special meetings from 5.15 to 6.15 pm for live telecast.

Historic Occasion to Ignite Passion for Exploration

Madhusudan Hulgi, the Additional State Project Director, mentioned that it is a new initiative by the government to open schools in the evening for educating students about the historic event of Chandrayaan 3 moon landing. He believes that this occasion will not only spark curiosity but also inspire young minds to explore and be passionate about space exploration.

The state government has instructed principals of all District Institute for Education and Training schools to prepare for live telecasts in their schools. This will help foster a strong sense of pride and unity as we come together to celebrate the achievements of Indian science and technology. As part of this initiative, all DIET Principals and basic education officers (BSAs) have been instructed to organize a special meeting in schools and educational institutions from 5:15 to 6:15 pm. Hulgi stated this.

India's Chandrayaan 3 Mission: Objectives and Significance

After the failure of Russia's Luna 25 mission, attention will now shift to India's Chandrayaan 3. The Indian Space Research Organisation launched this mission on July 14 from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Chandrayaan 3 aims to achieve a safe landing, deploy a rover on the moon's surface, and conduct scientific experiments. The project is budgeted at Rs 250 crore (excluding launch vehicle cost). If successful, India will become the fourth country to accomplish this feat after the United States, Russia, and China; however, it will be the only country to land on the lunar south pole.
