The Competition Commission of India(CCI) is seeking for professionals in Law who have an interest in Research and critical analysis. A core team of support staff is also been looked out and required to coordinate the Commission's resources and to make sure the smooth running of the commmision.

There are a total of 9 posts that are vacant and ready to be filled in. There is 1 vacancy available for Director(Law) post, 1 post is available for the Joint Director(Law) and 7 posts are available for the post of Deputy Director (Law).

The Age Limit

The age limit for each category of vacancy is different.

  • For the post of Director(law), the candidiate must fall in the age group of 40 and 45 years.
  • For the post of Joint Director (Law) the applicant must be in the age group of 35 and 40 years.
  • The post of Deputy Director(Law) is available for candidiates who are 33 years.

Required Qualification

The post of Director (Law) requires a Ph.D in Competition Law or equivalent from a recognized institution and must have an experience of 8 years in the relevant field.

Candidates with a Master's degree in Law or an equivalent course from a recognized institution with 10 years of experience or a candidate with Bachelors in law(Professional) or its equivalent from a recognized institution with 12 years of experience can apply as well.

For the post of Joint Director(Law) requires Ph.D in Competition Law or equivalent from a recognized institution and must have an experience of 3 years in the relevant field.

Candidates with a Master's degree in Law or an equivalent course from a recognized institution with 4 years of experience or a candidate with Bachelors in law(Professional) or its equivalent from a recognized institution with 6 years of experience can apply as well.

The post of Deputy Director (Law) must have a Bachelors in law(Professional) or its equivalent from a recognized institution with 3 years of experience.
