The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notification regarding the grievances of students and parents with regards to the forthcoming CBSE exams 2018. According to it, students can approach the board in case of any irregularities in the exam paper, within 24 hours of the conduct of the specific exam.
Addressed by K.K. Choudhury, Controller of Examinations, the notification has a form and format that students must adhere to notify their discrepancies to the CBSE.
CBSE Notification On Observation Schedule
"To give a fair deal to the comments on the question papers and redress the genuine grievances of students, CBSE has developed an Observation Schedule, a copy of which is enclosed. In case you have your observations/feedbacks, these may please be recorded and forwarded as per directions contained therein within 24 hours of the conduct of the examination of the subject concerned so that these observations, could be considered by the Expert Group while preparing the Marking Scheme," it reads on the official website.
How Can Class 12 Students Start Preparing for Board Exams?
The following are the criteria that could be addressed for grievance redressal from CBSE:
- Question deemed out of syllabus
- Beyond the comprehension level of the candidate
- Faulty translation
- Defective formation of questions

How To Send The CBSE Question Paper Grievance Request?
According to the CBSE circular, the observation should be sent by e-mail or fax to CBSE within 24 hours of the conduct of examination to :
- The subject expert of your region selected to participate in the Marking Scheme Development Programme.
