CAT 2017 Score Card Released: Check Now!

The result of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 has been announced by the IIM Lucknow. Candidates can view their respective scorecard from the official website. Patrick DSouza who hails from Mumbai and has scored 100 percentile in CAT 2017.

 

CAT is held for admission to various management courses offered across Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other top management colleges in the country. CAT 2017 results have been sent to the official IDs of the students.

CAT was conducted in two shifts on November 26, 2017. A total of 1,99,632 candidates had appeared for the exam, which was conducted in test centres spread across 140 cities. The number of test takers this year was the largest in last 3 years.

This time too, 20 candidates have scored an overall 100 percentiles. However, this time only two female candidates and three non-engineers are among top 20. The previous year, all top scorers were male engineers.

  • Students can go to the official website
  • On the homepage, click on scorecard link
  • Enter your login details
  • Download and if needed, take a print out of CAT results 2017
Candidates who have been shortlisted will be sent interview letters individually by each IIM. The criteria for shortlisting vary for each IIM and other B-schools.

About CAT:

CAT (Common Admission Test) is a national level entrance examination, which is conducted for admission to management programs in Indian Institutes of Management (IIM's) and top B-Schools across the country. It tests a candidate on his quantitative ability, data interpretation skills, verbal ability and logical reasoning. CAT also serves as the eligibility criteria for being admitted into the business administration courses in various IIM's spread across the country. The test is designed to evaluate the management aptitude of students by testing his analytical and communication skills. It demands up to three to four months of intense preparation.
