Exploring Connections between Energy, Economy, and Employment
The conference will illuminate the intricate relationships between energy requirements, economic growth, and the generation of employment opportunities. With three dedicated panels, attendees will be treated to in-depth discussions by some of India’s most brilliant minds on how these sectors interlink and influence each other. Dibyendu Chakraborty, the Chairman of the Conference Committee, emphasizes the importance of this dialogue. "India must generate employment opportunities, particularly for its youth, to fortify its economic base. Modern economic and production activities depend heavily on energy, with energy and economic growth intertwined in a complex way. As the economy expands, so does the demand for energy. This year's conference, titled 'India@2030: Energy, Economy, Employment', will explore these interconnections between energy, economic development, and employment."
The conference is not only a platform for intellectual exchange but also a testament to the power of community and collaboration. Numerous organizations from India and abroad have committed to supporting this event as donors. Their contributions are invaluable to the Alumni Association’s mission of fostering educational welfare. Among the supporters are some of the most recognized names across industries, including ONGC, Siemens, Zurich Risk Management Services, and Halliburton, to name a few.
