The Bar Council of India (BCI) has revised the exam date of the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) 2021. It has postponed the AIBE-XVI exam from March 21 to April 25, 2021. AIBE-XVI 2021 Postponed

The BCI has postponed the AIBE 16 exam date 2021 without specifying the reason. The entrance exam will be held on April 25 as per the notice released on February 21. Aspirants can access the notice below.

The official notice reads, "This is to inform all the candidates appearing for AIBE-XVI that the date for registration and last date of payment has been extended. Kindly click here to view the updated schedule."

Earlier, Bar Council of India has postponed the All India Bar Examination (AIBE-XV) 2020 exam scheduled to be held on August 16 due to the rising numbers of Coronavirus (COVID-19) positive cases. It has accepted the online registrations till December 19 for which the exam is to be held on January 24, 2021.

BCI has also informed that over 1 lakh lawyers have registered for the AIBE 2020 exam scheduled on January 24, 2021. The written exam will be held at 140 centres across 50 cities spread across the country. The Council has made it clear that there will be no further change of All India Bar Exam-XV exam date.

The official notice reads, "In this way, the Bar Council of India is going to hold two All India Bar Exams within a period of two months (i.e. All India Bar Exam-XV on 24th January, 2021 and All India Bar Exam-XVI on 21st March, 2021)."

AIBE is a national level exam conducted to practice law. It is an examination which a lawyer needs to pass within two years of his enrollment into the rolls of the Bar Council.
