Symbiosis Institute Of Technology Admissions Open: Apply For B.Tech/ M.Tech Programs

The Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune has released an admission notification for various programs for the academic year 2017.

Interested, eligible candidates to apply for its four-year Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and two-year Master of Technology (MTech) program in Electronics and Telecommunication (ECE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Civil engineering and Mechanical Engineering programs for the academic year 2017.

Educational requirements

For B Tech programs:

• The candidates interested in applying for this program should have completed class 12 examination, with physics, mathematics as mandated subjects, along with one of the chemistry/ biotechnology/ biology/ technical vocational subject.
• Candidates have to obtain the marks as per the AICTE norms.

The candidates interested in applying for this program should have completed BE or BTech in any relevant subject.

How is the selection procedure done?

For B Tech programs:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of any one of the entrance exams SET, JEE (Main) and MHT-CET.

For M Tech programs:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of valid GATE scores obtained by them.

The candidates are required to apply at the official website.

Important dates to remember:

• The last date for apply online for M Tech programs is June 19, 2017.
• The last date of registration for SET examination for BTech programs is April 13, 2017.
• SET examination will be conducted on May 6, 2017.
