The rarest and most sought-after instrument is this violin, known as a Stradivarius after the Italian family Stradivari that produced stringed instruments in the 17th and 18th centuries. It is the ideal violin because of its crystal-clear tone, which cost $15 million to buy in Japan in 2011. The violin was originally owned by Lord Byron's granddaughter, Lady Anne Blunt.

Marie Antoinette had a sizable jewellery collection because she was a noblewoman by birth and set the standard for fashion. Her pearl jewellery broke the record for the most expensive pearl ever when it sold for $32 million in 2018.

A 3-foot-tall (91.44 cm) steel sculpture of a rabbit created by artist Jeff Koons is the most costly piece of art. In 2019, the sculpture sold for an astounding $91.1 million.
