At present, there are sixteen IIT's across India. The admissions to the Undergraduate Programmes for the academic year 2013-2014 for all Indian and Foreign nationals at these institutions are made through the JEE (Advanced)-2013 Entrance exam.
JEE Advanced 2013 exam was held on June 2. Around 1.26 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.
In the mean time, students have to be prepared for counseling / seat selection process. Students have to take part in counseling through internet (online Counseling). They have to lock the seats in online.
Before counseling, candidates must know the how many seats and courses are available in all IIT's and ISM Dhanbad.

The seat allotment process will begin from July 4 in which students will get to know what branch of engineering they have allotted for.
