Exam Pattern:
KCET 2013 is based on objective type of questions. The Examination is conducted in 4 different session in 2 days.
- Paper 1: Mathematics (For Engineering And Architectural Candidates), 60 questions of 60 marks.
- Paper 2: Biology (For Medical Candidates): 0 questions of 60 marks.
- Paper 3: Physics: 60 questions of 60 marks.
- Paper 4: Chemistry: 60 questions of 60 marks.
Eligibility:
For Engineering/Technology:
Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST) from recognized board of examination.
For Medical / Dental:
Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST) from recognized board of examination.
For Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ Naturopathy & Yoga Courses:
Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST) from recognized board of examination.
For Architecture:
Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a compulsory optional subject and obtained 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST) from recognized board of examination.
