Bhopal Denies Exams Of Private & Regular Students

Bhopal Denies To Conduct Exams. Why?
Most of the Government run colleges in Bhopal have denied to conduct exams for both private and regular students simultaneously in their premises as desired by the Higher Education Department. Moreover, several colleges have refused to forward the forms of private students citing the issue of "insufficient space and staff for conducting the examination.

Around 50,000 number of students from both Regular and private students appear in under-graduate and post-graduate exams every year. The semester system for both the category students were simultaneously implemented. Also, as private students started filing up forms for the next semester, colleges affiliated to Barkatullah University have not been forwarding them.

Based on the condition of anonymity, the principal of a Government college said, "We have limited capacity for conducting exams of regular students. In such situation, it won't be possible for us to conduct exams of both private and regular students together". Despite contacting several times, higher education authorities never responded.

He added that "Despite, extra class rooms for conducting exams will overburden the teaching faculties. There already exists a lack of manpower. This will put extra pressure on teaching staff. It's impractical. Every year a college spends 100-150 days on conducting various undergraduate and postgraduate examinations.
