The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has cancelled the Class 10 board examinations for Hindi and Science subjects after reports of a paper lead surgaced on Social media, a JAC official confirmed on Thursday/

The Hindi exam which was conducted on February 18, and the Science Paper, scheduled for February 20, were both affected. In the official notice, JAC informed students, parents, school principles, and examination officials about the cancellation. The council assured that re-examinations for the two subjects would be conducted at a later date.

The Class 10 (Matriculation) and Class 12 (Intermediate) board exams began across Jharkhand on February 11 under strict security ,easures. A total of over 7.84 lakh students have enrolled for both examinations, which are being held in two shifts - Class 10 exams in the morning session - 9:45 AM to 1:00 PM) and Class 12 exams in the afternoon session (2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
