The Uttar Pradesh government will conduct the Nipun Assessment Test (NAT) from September 11 to September 16. The test will be given to students in Classes 1 through 8 to evaluate their learning outcomes in Science and Mathematics (Classes 6-8) and Language and Maths (Classes 1-5).
Assessments in the subjects of Science and Mathematics are to be ascribed to the students of classes 6 to 8. For conducting the NAT Exam, the 'Saral App' will be used, while initially; the participants are expected to fill out the OMR sheets to complete the questions asked.
The BSA and DIET principals of each district have been given instructions on how to conduct the exam fairly and openly. Teachers have also been instructed to make home visits and engage the community to guarantee that every pupil will be present.

Following the completion of the assessment, the teacher will scan the data from an OMR sheet using the "Saral App" to keep track of the results of each student. Black ballpoint pens will only be used to complete the OMR sheet. The pupils in classes 4 through 8 will be able to purchase pens for a maximum of five rupees each through a composite grant.
The report cards will be prepared after the examination papers have been evaluated, and they will then be given to each student. Development block-wise flying squads have been established to ensure a fair and transparent assessment process, and district-level officers from the basic education department and other departments have been instructed to supervise and ensure cross-vigilance.
In the district project offices, control rooms for exams have been established. The exam will last no more than one and a half hours. The scanning procedure will be finished in an hour following the evaluation. The number of children will help decide this time frame.
