NCHMCT JEE 2018
National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT JEE) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by NCHMCT to offer admissions in diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in hospitality and hotel administration. Qualifying in NCHMCT JEE ensures that candidates will secure admissions into the 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management and the 19 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management. Besides these, a total of 9 Food Craft Institutes offer diploma programmes in hospitality-related operational areas, through the council.
Candidates are eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE 2018 if they cleared their 10+2 or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects studied. Admission through NCHMCT JEE will strictly be on the basis of the candidate's performance in the All India (Written Test) JEE. NCHMCT JEE 2018 will be held on Apr 28.
Oberoi STEP 2018
To shortlist aspirants for hospitality management, The Oberoi Group of Hotel's Systematic Training and Education Programme (STEP) conducts interviews. On the basis of the candidate's performance in the admission process of Oberoi STEP, he/she can secure admissions in courses. Should have cleared class 12 examination as on July 1, 2018, from any board that is recognised by the Indira Gandhi National Open University, India (IGNOU). Aspirants need to fulfill multiple Oberoi STEP eligibility criteria in order to apply for OCLD admissions. Oberoi STEP 2018 interview will be held from Apr 17-27.
IHM Aurangabad
Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Aurangabad, conducts a profiling test, a group discussion, and an interview round in order to shortlist aspirants for admissions in courses offered at the hospitality institute. Candidates can secure admission to BA (Hons) Hotel Management and BA (Hons) Culinary Arts. Candidates should have cleared their class 12 (in the 10+2 pattern) or any other equivalent examination from any stream.
IIHM eCHAT
International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) conducts an Electronic Common Hotel Admission Test (eCHAT) to offer admissions to candidates in hotel management programmes on offer by the institute. Candidates should have cleared their intermediate or equivalent examination with minimum 50% aggregate. IIHM eCHAT will be held on May 15, 2018.
