But one thing that we usually miss is the education that these people have received. We have to acknowledge that getting a college degree, and in some cases moving forward for a post-doctoral degree, while handling a public life is not easy.

While many celebrities have taken up the roads of education long before they ventured into their line of work, there are many others who continued studying even while they acted or while they wrote scripts that made us laugh at late night shows.

Mr. Franco had joined University of California for an English and Drama programe, but had to drop out to make his dreams of becoming an actor. Later, when he got the chance, he returned and earned his undergraduate degree rather than just leaving for good. He later pursued for his Master of Fine Arts from New York University for Film making and Columbia University for Writing. He is currently pursuing his PhD in English from Yale University.

As dumb his character may look, Atkinson is quite the opposite with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Newcastle University and a Masters in the same from The Queen's College, Oxford. While in college he was part of drama clubs, where he would develop the idea for his character, Mr. Bean.

Garfunkel earned his major in Architecture from Columbia University and was part of a fraternity called Alpha Epsilon Pi. In 1965, he earned his Bachelors degree in Art History followed by a Masters degree in Mathematics Education. In the following years, the duo Simon and Garfunkel started making songs together and their career took different turns.
