JEE Main 2016: Exam Dates Released

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the JEE exam dates. The exam is scheduled to be held on April 3, April 9 and April 10, 2016.

Candidates can register online from December 1, 2015.

Important Dates:

• Commencement of application: December 1
• Last date to apply: December 31
• Date of examination (Offline): April 3, 2016
• Online examination: April 9, 2016 and April 10, 2016

JEE Main Paper Pattern:

JEE Main 2015 shall have two papers: Paper-1 (B.E / B.Tech) and Paper-2 (B.Arch / B.Planning). Candidates may take Paper-1, or Paper-2, or both as per the courses, they are seeking admission to.

About JEE:

JEE is an all India common entrance examination conducted to provide admission to several engineering courses. The entrance examination is being conducted in two parts, JEE-Main and JEE-Advanced.

Candidates who clear IIT-JEE main examination are eligible to appear for IIT-JEE (advanced) which provides entry to IITs.
