The Rajasthan Education Department made a huge change in the 10th and 12th board examinations. The Rajasthan Board has cancelled the modifications made in the class 10th and class 12th exam syllabus. In the past two years, the board has been holding exams after cutting 30% of the syllabus. Now, the syllabus comes back to 100%.

 
RBSE Board Exam 2023: Exam pattern changed

After issuing an order in this regard, the Assistant Secretary, Rajasthan Education Department, said, "By cancelling the 30% cut in the syllabus in the 2022 examination, 100 per cent of the syllabus should be implemented in all subjects in class 10th and 12th for the 2023 examination."

The order further added, "The pattern approved paper for the examination 2022 will remain the same, but the choice in the question paper should be given only in long-answered questions. No option for short-answer questions should be given. "

A new model of the question paper for the 2023 examination will be prepared and will be uploaded soon on the website.
According to the latest notice by RBSE, the Rajasthan Board has also increased the time duration for giving the exams for classes 10th and 12th. Earlier, the time duration for giving the RBSE Board examination was 2 hours 45 minutes, but now the students will get 3 hours and 15 minutes for writing their papers.

The previous year, the Rajasthan Board Class 12 recorded a pass percentage of 96.33 per cent. If we check stream-wise, then Commerce students performed really well, with 97.53 percent of the students passing the exam. Arts and Science students' passing percentages were 96.33 percent and 96.58 percent, respectively.The passing percentage for the RBSE 10th Board of 2022 exam was 82.89. This was a huge dip in passing percentage if we compared it to the passing percentage of 2021, which was 99.56 percent.

Not only RBSE, but most of the boards have also reverted to pre-pandemic exam patterns and syllabuses.
