CBSE Class 12 Carnatic music (melodic instrumental) Syllabus for 2026-27

The Syllabus of Carnatic Music (Melodic Instrumental) prescribed by the CBSE for Class 12; basically includes the History and Theory of Indian Music. The Carnatic Music (Melodic Instrumental) Paper is of 100 Marks and holds an important role in the Class 12 Syllabus. The entire syllabus of Carnatic Music (Melodic Instrumental) is broadly categorized into two sections: Theory and Practical.
