The Syllabus of the Bhutia language that is introduced by the CBSE contains Term 1 and Term 2. The Syllabus of the language concerned is divided broadly into 4 sections for Term 1, including a maximum mark of 40 and they are as follows:
Section A- Reading, 5 Marks
Section B- Applied Grammar, 10 Marks
Section C- Seen Comprehension, 9 Marks
Section D- Literature, 16 Marks
There is a provision for Internal Assessment by the CBSE for the Bhutia language, which comprises 10 Marks. Internal Assessment is further segregated as
(i) Assignment- 5 Marks
(ii) Speaking and Listening- 5 Marks
The Syllabus for the Bhutia language for Term 2 is again divided into the following sections:
Section A- Reading, 5 Marks
Section B- Writing, 12 Marks
Section C- Applied Grammar, 8 Marks
Section D- Literature, 15 Marks
The total marks of the aforesaid division of the Bhutia language is 40. The CBSE provides the learners with the opportunity for Internal Assessment, which contains 10 Marks. The bifurcation of the Internal Assessment of the Bhutia language goes as
(i) Assignment- 5 Marks
(ii) Speaking and Listening- 5 Marks
