FDDI AIST Exam 2016: Exam Details

The examination dates for the All India Selection Test (AIST) has been officially notified by the Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI). According to the notification, the programmes offered by the FDDI in association with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for the academic session 2016.

The AIST entrance examination is scheduled to be held from August 1, 2016 to August 3, 2016. The examination is held by the FDDI for admissions into both masters and bachelors programmes in the below listed streams:

Postgraduate programmes offered are:

• Footwear Design and Production
• Retail and Fashion Merchandise
• Creative Design CAD/CAM

Undergraduate programmes offered are in:

• Footwear Design and Production
• Retail and Fashion Merchandise
• Fashion Leather accessory Design

Who is eligible for the above listed programmes?

• Candidates interested for undergraduate programmes must have cleared class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board.
• For admissions into post graduate programmes, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university.
