Dravidian University Announces DUCET 2016 Exam Dates

The exam dates for the Dravidian University Common Entrance Test (DUCET 2016), has been announced by the Dravidian University, Kuppam for the session 2016. DUCET 2016 will be held on June 27, 2016. DUCET is by Dravidian University for admissions into the following programmes offered for the academic session 2016.

The programmes offered are:

Candidates who are interested to apply for admissions at Dravidian University can read through for details on eligibility criteria, application procedure, selection procedure and important dates.


For M.Sc programme:

  • Candidates should a bachelor's degree in science with the area of specialisation as one of the subject.

For M.A programme:

  • Candidates with any bachelor's degree can apply.

For M.Com programme:

  • Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in commerce or arts.

How to apply for DUCET 2016

  • Candidates can also download application form and prospectus from the official webiste.  or
  • Candidates can obtain applications and prospectus from the Dean, Academic Affairs, Dravidian University, Kuppam-517426 in person. or
  • Applications are also available through registered post on submitting a DD for Rs 300 (Rs 200 for SC/ST candidates).
  • The DD are to drawn in the favour of "The Registrar, Dravidian University" payable at Kuppam.

DUCET 2016 Exam Dates

DUCET 2016 Paper Pattern:

  • The paper is objective type.
  • The questions are usually from the respective qualifying degree syllabus.
  • Duration of the examinatio is 100 minutes.

Important dates:

  • Last date for availability of application form: May 19, 2016
  • Last date for availability of application form with a late fee of Rs. 50: May 20, 2016 to May 30, 2016
  • Last date for submission of applications: May 31, 2016
  • Date of DUCET 2016 entrance exam: June 27, 2016
