University of Kota's admission notification for year 2014-15

University of Kota invites applications for its academic programmes for the year 2014-15. It offers Postgraduate, M. Phil., Integrated UG-PG, Ph.D. and PG Diploma Programmes.

In the Science stream, the courses offered are M. Sc. Chemistry (Specialisation in Organic & Analytical Chemistry), M. Sc. Industrial Chemistry, Integrated B. Sc.-M. Sc. Physics, M. Sc. Physics-Energy, M. Sc. Tech.-Energy Studies, M.Tech-Solar Energy, Master of Computer Applications, M. Sc. Life Sciences, M. Sc. Wildlife Sciences

In the Social Sciences stream, admission is offered for Master of Social Works, M. A. Development Studies, M. A. Heritage, Tourism & Museology, M. A./M. Sc. Geography, P. G. Diploma in Remote Sensing & Geographical Information System, M. Lib. & Info. Sci

Master of International Business (MIB), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and M. Com.-Accounting & Finance are the courses offered in the Commerce section.

In addition to the above courses, Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) and Master of Law (LL.M.) are also offered.

Sale of admission forms will commence on May 15, 2014
Last date of submission of filled admission forms is June 14, 2014
Display of merit lists on website for provisional admission: June 18, 2014

First round of counselling and fee deposition for provisional admission :
(i) Science & Education: June 23, 2014
(ii) Social Sciences, Commerce & Management and Law: June 24, 2014

Second round of counselling and fee deposition for provisional admission:
(i) Science & Education: June 26, 2014
(ii) Social Sciences, Commerce & Management and Law: June 27, 2014

Form can be submitted with 1st and 2nd year marks sheets.
Final year / semester marks sheet can be submitted within 15 days of the declaration of respective results.

To apply: There are multiple ways to get the admission form. They are as follows:

1. Download admission form from the website and submit filled admission form to the Head of the Department of the respective course along with DD of Rs.300/-.
2. Admission form can be purchased by cash / DD of Rs. 300/- from the following places: (i) Office of the Dean, Postgraduate Studies, Room No. 312, Administrative Building, University of Kota. (ii) Office of the Head of the Departments of the respective courses, University of Kota.
3. To get the admission form by post send a DD of Rs. 350/- to address given below.

DD should be made in favour of the "Registrar, University of Kota" payable at Kota and send to Dean, Postgraduate Studies, Room No. 312, Administrative Building, University of Kota, Kota-324 00
