Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, has announced the admission notification for the session July 2014.

Admissions are open for Masters of Computer Applications (MCA), M.A in Rural Development, Tourism Management, English, Hindi, Philosophy, Gandhi & Peace Studies, Extension & Development Studies, Education, Anthropology, Gender & Development Studies, Master of Social Work (MSW),Master of Social Work(Counseling),Distance Education, Economics, History, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Adult Education, Women's & Gender Studies, Master of Commerce (M.Com), Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS); M.Sc (Dietetics and Food Services Management); M.Sc (Counseling and Family Therapy).

The university also invites applications for Bachelor degree programmes like Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) (with major in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology); Bachelor of Arts (B.A) (with major in Hindi, English, Urdu, Economics, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Psychology, Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology), B.A in Tourism Studies, Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com); Bachelor of Library & Information Science (BLIS); Bachelor of Social Work (BSW); BBA in Retailing (BBARL). Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) (preparing students for taking admission in IGNOU's selected programmes).

Other programmes of PG Diploma, Diploma, Advanced Certificate, PG Certificate & Certificate are also available.
